Notts Friendly Moved To Trent Bridge

Leicestershire's final pre-season friendly ahead of the 2023 season will now take place at Trent Bridge, after inclement weather rendered the playing surface at Uptonsteel County Ground unfit to host.
Despite the relentless work of the groundstaff at Grace Road, heavy rainfall has again necessitated a switch of venue.
The Foxes' opening warm-up fixture at Northants was curtailed by rain on Tuesday, but still provided valuable time in the middle for Leicestershire's batsmen and bowlers to dust off the winter cobwebs. Day one saw Sol Budinger and Club captain Lewis Hill tally half-centuries, before the bowling unit shared the wickets in Northants’ reply.
Thursday and Friday's play at Trent Bridge will remain behind-closed-doors, with updates to be provided across all of the Club's digital media platforms.
