Oakham School Joins Forces with Leicestershire CCC for 2025 Season

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce a new partnership with Oakham School ahead of the 2025 season, highlighting a shared commitment to sporting excellence and the development of young talent.
As part of the agreement, Oakham School will be the dedicated fixture partner for the Foxes’ opening Vitality Blast match of the summer on Friday 30 May at the Uptonsteel County Ground. The match will celebrate Oakham’s strong sporting legacy and involvement in cricket, with activities and engagement opportunities planned throughout the evening for pupils, families, and fans.
The partnership also includes Oakham School’s sponsorship of Leicestershire CCC women’s player Aimee Colquhoun, reflecting the school’s support for the growth of the women’s game.

John Williams, Commercial Director at Leicestershire CCC, said the Club is thrilled to welcome Oakham School as a key partner for the 2025 season. He commented: “Their dedication to developing young athletes aligns perfectly with our own values. The T20 fixture on 30 May will be a great opportunity to showcase that shared passion, and we’re equally proud to see their support for Aimee, who is an exciting talent in our women’s team.”
