The hard work for the 2025 season is underway, after half a dozen Foxes stars returned to Uptonsteel County Ground on Thursday.
Put through their paces in a gruelling gym and sprint session, Chris Wright, Harry Swindells, Sol Budinger, Liam Trevaskis, Matt Salisbury and Sam Wood all took the first steps on their pre-season programme.
Led by the Club’s Lead Physiotherapist; Lloyd Hanley-Byron, and Head of Strength and Conditioning; Jack McCann, players were analysed on a range of gym-based profiling tests before taking part in a timed 2k run around the ground.
The contingent were also subjected to skinfold testing and Musculoskeletal Screening, which aims to identify athletes at risk of injury and implement proactive injury prevention methods.
Ben Cox and Lewis Hill will join the group in the weeks to come, while Rehan Ahmed, Josh Hull, and Alex Green are currently away with England, England Lions, and Young Lions respectively.
