Rain Washes Out Third Day Of Northants Contest

Day three of Leicestershire's meeting with Northamptonshire was completely washed out following heavy rainfall overnight and across the morning at Uptonsteel County Ground.
The ground was left sodden with deep puddles obvious across the outfield, with the umpires calling play off shortly after 10am on Sunday.
Subject to conditions on Monday morning, Leicestershire will resume their first innings on 97 for two, 356 runs in arrears. Louis Kimber 47* and captain Lewis Hill 18* the unbeaten batters after day two.
