Rehan Drafted For Defending BBL Champions

Rehan Ahmed will fly out to Australia for BBL15 after being drafted for defending champions Hobart Hurricanes on Thursday morning.
The 20-year-old was selected alongside fellow England all-rounder Chris Jordan and Bangladesh star Rishad Hossain for the two-time Big Bash winners, with the 2025/26 competition due to begin in late December.
Ahmed was selected for Sydney Sixers in 2023 but was forced to pull out of the tournament due to increased international commitments with England.
A product of the Leicestershire Academy, Ahmed has 531 runs and 63 wickets in his 68 T20 appearances to date.
