Rehan Named In Test Squad For New Zealand Tour

Rehan Ahmed will tour New Zealand later this winter after being named in England’s 16-player squad for the three-match Test series.
The tour, which is scheduled for November and December, comprises three Tests and a warm-up fixture against New Zealand Cricket XI in Queenstown.
Ahmed will join the squad after his commitments with England’s white-ball contingent in the Caribbean, with the all-rounder set for three One Day Internationals and five IT20s against the West Indies, starting on Thursday.
The 20-year-old’s latest international call comes after he took his England wickets total to 41, adding 4/66 in an impressive display with the ball during the final Test against Pakistan last week.

The Test series will begin at Hagley Oval, Christchurch, on Thursday, 28 November.

1st Test: New Zealand v England, 28 November-2 December 2024, Hagley Oval, Christchurch (11.00am start)
2nd Test: New Zealand v England, 6-10 December 2024, Basin Reserve, Wellington (11.00am start)
3rd Test: New Zealand v England, 14-18 December 2024, Seddon Park, Hamilton (11.00am start)
