Second XI 2024 Fixtures Announced

Leicestershire’s Second XI will begin the defence of their Second Eleven Championship title at home to Worcestershire on Monday, 15 April.
A four-day trip to Scarborough to take on Yorkshire follows (22 April) before Dips Patel’s side conclude April back at Kibworth with the visit of Northamptonshire (29 April).
The first of seven games at Uptonsteel County Ground “ the most since 2019 - is set for Friday, 10 May, with the Foxes hosting a National Counties XI for a double header of T20s.
Leicestershire then face Derbyshire at Kibworth in the opening fixture of the SET20 ten days later (20 May), before fellow East Midlands rivals Nottinghamshire visit Fleckney Road later that week (22 May).
Fixtures against Durham (3 and 4 June), Yorkshire (10 June), and a double header against Lancashire (9 July) will also take place at Grace Road later in the summer.
Following the potential of T20 Finals Day (16 July), the Foxes will return for the final three SEC matches of the season, concluding at Northamptonshire on 9 September.
