Somerset Recall Green From Foxes Loan

All-rounder Ben Green has been recalled by Somerset with immediate effect.

The 27-year-old was due to continue his loan spell with Leicestershire for the final three Rothesay County Championship fixtures of the season but will instead return to his parent county before joining the Foxes permanently on 1 November.

Green, who signed a two-year deal with the Club in August, has been an ever-present for table-topping Leicestershire in four-day cricket this term, taking 31 wickets and scoring 328 runs.

We wish Ben well for the rest of the season and look forward to welcoming him back as a full-time Fox later this year.
