The Melton Build on Successful 2022 with Partnership Renewal

Leicestershire CCC will again welcome The Melton Building Society as an Official Partner and stand sponsor, with the business extending their affiliation into the 2023 season.

The building society will continue to play a key role in supporting Leicestershire Women and Girls teams, as well as Leicestershire’s Academy sides, providing the front-of-shirt sponsor for each setup.

After the Melton-based business began their backing for the Women and Girls’ teams in December 2021, the Club saw a record-breaking 2022 season across the age groups, headlined by the senior team winning the Regional T20 trophy on their maiden appearance at Uptonsteel County Ground.

Meanwhile, the Under 15 girls side posted their highest ever total in August, and both Under 18 sides progressed to the final of their respective T20 competitions.

The Academy sponsors also saw prodigious teenager Rehan Ahmed make history as the youngest Test player to take a five-wicket haul on debut during England’s tour of Pakistan in December, as well as recent graduate Josh Hull earning professional terms ahead of the 2023 campaign.

In addition to supporting the Foxes’ Women and both age groups sides, The Melton will remain as the sponsor of the Family Stand at Uptonsteel County Ground for a third consecutive summer.
