The season has lift off! with the Launch of the 2026 playing Kits

Leicestershire County Cricket Club players swapped the outfield for the runway as they launched a striking range of new shirts for the upcoming season filming an exclusive promotional video at East Midlands Airport.

Rishi Patel, Sol Budinger, Ben Mike, and Ben Green were given rare access to secure airport locations including the luggage carousel, arrivals hall, departures area, and even the runway and apron, creating a unique backdrop for this year’s kit reveal. The experience, according to Rishi Patel, was unforgettable:

“It was just surreal, having the airport shut down allowed us to film on the runway! It was so much fun, but there’s a serious message as well. We need support this season; we are now in elite company, but Leicestershire CCC aims high, and support will be crucial. We’ve landed in the top flight, but our journey is just beginning.”

Head of Commercial, Charlie Bannister, added his own reflections on the landmark shoot:

"This is more than just a kit launch, it’s a statement of intent for 2026. Unveiling our new kit at East Midlands Airport puts Leicestershire County Cricket Club firmly on the map, reflecting the energy, ambition and pride that drives everything we do at the club. These designs are bold, modern and built to stand out, just like our team. I can’t wait to see our players walk out at Uptonsteel Grace Road in them and our supporters wear them with pride. A big thank you must go to our friends at East Midlands Airport for making this happen!”

East Midlands Airport’s Head of Corporate Affairs, Ioan Reed-Aspley, noted the significance of the moment:

"Having cricket players on the runway is definitely a first! We were bowled over to be asked to support Leicestershire CCC’s video to launch their new kit and hope it helps their season really take off. A Kit Packed With Meaning

This season’s shirts proudly showcase the Club’s valued partners: longstanding partner Uptonsteel once again feature as our Principle partner on the front of our shirt for all three formats. Dafabet will again feature on all three shirts for 2026 displaying their logo on the sleeve, stern and back of the county championship and one day cup shirt whilst also featuring on the sleeve and stern of the T20 Blast shirt. More Recruitment join us for 2026 as our back of shirt partner for our T20 campaign whilst international grooming brand, Manscaped, will feature on our front of trouser for all white ball competitions. 

Supporters will also notice a bold fox pawprint motif running throughout both the One Day Cup (ODC) and T20 kits, symbolising the Foxes as they enter a new era.
