Thorpes To Mark Decade In Partnership With Leicestershire

Leicestershire County Cricket Club will celebrate a decade working in collaboration with Thorpes Joinery by entering renewed Official Partnership for the 2025 season.

A long-standing supporter of the Club, the Market Harborough-based business have played an integral role in enhancing the look and feel around Uptonsteel County Ground in recent seasons.

After furnishing the front-of-house Commercial and Retail Office in 2022, the bespoke joinery revamped the prestigious Birkenshaw Suite “ named after Club President Jack Birkenshaw MBE - into one of the Club’s premier hospitality hotspots last spring.

Thorpes will also continue as the feature sponsor of the Foxes’ training shirts for the 2025 season, as they have since the start of the 2022 campaign.

Discussing the partnership extension, Leicestershire CCC Commercial Director, John Williams, said: â€œThorpes have been instrumental in modernising the infrastructure around Uptonsteel County Ground, creating striking commercial settings for staff, supporters and visitors alike.
