Uptonsteel Stand Seating Refreshed Thanks to Friends of Grace Road

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is pleased to share that the Uptonsteel Stand at the Uptonsteel County Ground has recently undergone a full servicing and repainting, giving the seating area a fresh and vibrant look ahead of the 2025 season.
The works were carried out last week by Stadium Support Services, who brought their expertise and attention to detail to the iconic stand. This important upgrade ensures improved comfort and aesthetics for supporters as the ground prepares for a busy summer of cricket.
The Club would like to express sincere thanks to Friends of Grace Road, the Club’s official charity, who generously funded the seat servicing. Their continued support plays a vital role in enhancing the matchday experience for all who visit the ground.
With the Uptonsteel Stand now looking better than ever, attention will soon turn to the Stadia Utilities Stand, which is next in line to be serviced and repainted as part of our ongoing ground improvement plans.
We look forward to welcoming supporters back to a brighter and more comfortable Uptonsteel County Ground this summer!
