Vote For Rehan As July’s PCA Player of the Month

Rehan Ahmed’s sensational form has seen him nominated for the Men’s PCA Player of the Month award for July.

The Leicestershire all-rounder scored 427 runs at an average of 71.16 and claimed 16 wickets to earn 151.79 MVP points last month, including 78.90 MVP points against Derbyshire, the most in a match so far this season.

Ahmed’s knock of 115 in the first innings and 13-wicket haul in the match helped the Foxes register a 189-run win over their East Midlands rivals to further fuel a Division One promotion push.

The 20-year-old has now taken his tally to 1,063 runs and 29 wickets across formats (as of 31 July) in an outstanding individual season.

He has been nominated alongside fellow all-rounders Chris Green (Lancashire), Ethan Brookes (Worcestershire) and Will Jacks (Surrey) for July’s award.

The PCA Player of the Month will be decided by a 50:50 split between the PCA MVP Rankings and a public vote “ with the poll closing on 2 August at 10pm.
