Warning Zone Raise Over £3,000 as Leicestershire CCC’s One Day Cup Charity Partner

Leicestershire County Cricket Club’s One Day Cup Charity Partner, Warning Zone, has raised over £3,000 through a series of fundraising initiatives this summer.

The total was generated through a combination of ticket sales, the Club’s annual Golf Day auction, and the CWA 60th birthday celebrations, which were marked at the T20 fixture against Yorkshire at the Uptonsteel County Ground.

The funds will support Warning Zone’s vital work in providing life skills and safeguarding education to young people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Charlie Bannister, Head of Sales and Marketing at Leicestershire CCC, said:
“We are delighted to have partnered with Warning Zone as our One Day Cup Charity Partner this year. The work they do has a hugely positive impact on young people across our community, and it’s been fantastic to see our supporters and partners come together to raise over £3,000. We’re proud to play a part in supporting such an important local cause.”

Richard Grudgings, Marketing Manager at Warning Zone, added:
“We are extremely grateful to Leicestershire CCC for choosing Warning Zone as their One Day Cup Charity Partner. The funds raised will go directly towards ensuring more children across the county have access to crucial life skills and online safety education. It’s been brilliant to work with the Club, and we’d like to thank everyone who has contributed to this fantastic total.”

Leicestershire CCC would like to thank all supporters, sponsors, and partners who played a role in helping Warning Zone raise this significant sum.
