Ben Cox

Regarded as one of the finest wicketkeepers in the country, Cox put pen-to-paper on a permanent deal with Leicestershire ahead of the 2024 season.

It followed a 15-year association with home county, Worcestershire, with Cox making his debut as a 17-year-old A-level student during the summer of 2009.

He famously led the Pears to their maiden Vitality Blast title in 2018 with player of the match performances in both the semi-final and final at Edgbaston.

Cox left Worcestershire as their third-highest T20 run-scorer behind Moeen Ali and Daryl Mitchell, hitting five centuries across first-class and List A cricket.

His strong form continued into his time at Uptonsteel County Ground, passing the landmarks of 11,000 runs and 700 dismissals during the 2025 campaign as Leicestershire clinched the Division Two title at a canter.
