Now a permanent member of the Foxes, Green signed a two-year deal with the Club following several loan spells since the beginning of the 2024 campaign.
The all-rounder arrives from Somerset, where he twice lifted the Vitality Blast, bringing a reputation as one of English cricket’s most effective T20 all-rounders with more than 100 wickets and a batting strike rate close to 140.
Green proved his red-ball prowess as Leicestershire romped to the 2025 Division Two title, taking 31 wickets and scoring 328 runs from 11 matches.
His first-class career bests with bat and ball have both come at Leicestershire, claiming a maiden first-class five-fer during victory over Gloucestershire after smashing 77 against Middlesex the year before.
The Devon-born star has also been a destructive operator in 50-over cricket - where he captained Somerset on 12 occasions – scoring a career-high 157 off just 84 balls against Durham during the 2022 campaign.
