Josh Hull

A towering 6ft 7” talent, Hull is regarded as one of English cricket’s hottest young prospects.

Graduating from Leicestershire’s Academy ahead of the 2023 campaign, Hull made an instant debut when thrown in against Yorkshire at Headingley in the season opener – removing Adam Lyth with just his fourth delivery in professional cricket.

He ended his maiden campaign by bowling the Foxes to victory in one of the most dramatic One Day Cup finals in recent memory, sending down a nerveless final over as Leicestershire beat Hampshire to end their 38-year wait for a List A title.

Hull’s impressive development continued into 2024, with a superb T20 campaign – yielding 18 wickets at 24.11 – earning him a Hundred contract with Manchester Originals and, more importantly, a Test debut for England. Featuring against Sri Lanka at The Oval, he returned 3/53 in the first innings.

The left-armer became a more prominent figure in red-ball cricket during the title-winning 2025 summer, taking 22 wickets and earning his Gold Fox cap as Leicestershire clinched the Division Two crown.
